You saw it right, that was Old Main on last night’s Saturday Night Live. During the sketch featuring Bill Hader and Jesse Eisenberg, “58-year veteran reporter Herb Welch covers a major drug bust at a prestigious New York college.” That New York College being in the exact spot I used to play football on beautiful sunny days. Here’s a screenshot below where you can clearly see Old Main written on the front of the building. Click to enlarge.

It’s not a big mystery which NY college it was supposed to be as 5 Columbia University students were arrested in a drug bust.

Also worth noting was the opening sketch featuring Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg, Andy Samburg as Mark Zuckerberg, and Mark Zuckerberg as Mark Zuckerberg. A lot of bergs. A lot of Jews. Pretty funny and for once it looks like Zuck is actually a decent guy in real life. At least for a few minutes.
